Default 36 inch, 192W Coralife Aqualights for sale

Just purchased new custom lights from Catalina Aquariums that will be here Wednesday and will have two (2) 192W (CFL) Coralife Aqualights for sale. You can read more about them here: Compact Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Coralife Aqualight Double Compact Fluorescent Strip Lights I have the fw version. I have had both of these on a 125g tank for around 4 months and they have performed pretty well for this sized tank. All the plants I have in there (about 60) have all been doing well. They will do exceptionally well for smaller tanks in the 36" size range.

Asking $125 each. PM me if you're interested.

If you like, I can see how they look on my 29g. The bulb itself is only 30", I believe. Your tank should be like 30 1/4".

I know, lol. But...I am tired of looking at them. You may have some lighting challenges with that tank, I think, given the added height of it being a 125 and only 5' long. Will depend on what type of plant you want in there and how low they are to the substrate. I would think you probably have about 21" or so.

Top to bottom is 24 1/2 inches take off the 5 inches of substrate left with around 19 inches to reach gravel. The light I have doesn't do bad reaching just not wide enough to get from front to back evenly. If I raise the fixture off the top some to get more coverage it wont penitrate as good.

Work in progress, probably move all my plants to one side for now will I get it worked out.

Well reaching is one thing, reaching with the right intensity is something else entirley. PAR measurements at the substrate is how you determine a light's effectiveness.

Here you go: Catalina Aquarium

I can hear the wife now...."that's a lot of damn money for a free tank" What my ex would have said.
