I am new to aquariums but i am looking to buy something big or medium in size at least i am told i should start with fresh but i was wondering if any of you have Live Sand And live rock i can buy i live in southern California

Another Qeustion i want to get a Freshwater Puffer fish and it says later they should have brackish water it confused me am i only suposed to keep it in fresh water for certain amount of time then change it to brackish water and what is brackish water the Puffer Fish i want Originates from Indoniesia
