Just leave it. It's not worth the risk. In a couple of months that plug will be covered polyps if you feed it enough anyway. If not it will be covered with coraline anyway. You have to spot feed those. i feed mine every other day

Nice frag, its not that hard to pry the glue from the plug with a butter knife or flat tip screwdriver you just don't want to apply pressure to the frag which could damage the soft tissue. Where did you find the frag? I saw some the other day that looked similar in vero beach florida.

+1........ If you feed it that duncan will grow quite rapidly and the frag plug will disappear!

You can buy aquarium safe epoxy and glue the plug to your rock. And as advised it will grow over soon enough, then likely to the rock in time. I've done this to smaller (5to6") pieces of rock. Then I was able to rearrange if nesesarry...
But I've never used super glue...

i have been feeding the duncan just by throwing in 5ml of food and its doing great. today they bloomed out the size of a half dollar. but im just still waiting after three days for my zoa polyps to grow out fully. only about 40% of it is blooming. that is a picture of my rock with the polyps. i just turned the lights on in that pic so there isnt any on it at the moment..lol.....oh ...and duncans grow more heads eventually right?

wow that's a crap load of polyps lol what kind are they? Careful not to overstock your tank too fast. I don't want to sound like one of those micromanaging people because I'm not. I would just hate it if your fresh tank crashed. It's only been up like 2-3 weeks right?
