Default Phoenix AZ, moving, gotta lose these fish and plants!

Hi everyone

I found this forum when googling around. I've got a bunch of fish that I need to give away because I'm moving across the country and can't take them with me.

Below is what I've got. If you are interested, please contact me.

Also, if you have any suggestions for me, such as a better message board or mailing list to use, that would be very helpful. Ultimately, I am going to have to give these fish away to someone, so if you are at all interested, let me know.

--

I have two 30 gallon freshwater planted aquariums. I am trying to give away all of the plants and fish because I am moving across the country for a new job and can't take these fish with me -- they would almost certainly not make it, and it would be a huge hassle for me.

I am keeping the aquariums and setup. I'll get new fish and plants when I settle down in my new home.

All of these fish are very healthy and live in a stable planted aquarium with UV, micro-filtration, RO water.

I live downtown, near the baseball park, just off of interstate 10, Phoenix AZ. I don't want to ship, so locals only please.

Here's what I've got;

4 Rummy nose tetras
6 Amano Shrimp
1 Cory catfish
7 Siamese Algae Eater, AKA "Siamese Flying Fox"
1 "false Siamese algae eater" AKA "Thailand Flying Fox"
1 Yoyo loach
3 Florida flag fish
2 Goldfish
1 Hypostomus plecostomus, AKA "Common pleco"

Lots of miscellaneous freshwater plants.

--

2 Goldfish

Common goldfish. Both are about three years old. Healthy. Nicely colored. About 3" long.

1 Hypostomus plecostomus, AKA "Common pleco"

A common pleco. He eats algea and hides most of the day in his log. Because my tanks are next to the window, he only comes out at night. About three years old. 4" long.

1 Cory catfish

Small catfish. Bottom feeder. Keeps the tank clean. Won't grow larger. 1" long. Very docile and friendly.

6 Amano Shrimp

Algea eating shrimp. Will keep your tank clean. About 1 year old. 1.25" long.

7 Siamese Algae Eater, AKA "Siamese Flying Fox"

These guys eat algea. Help keep your tank clean. Very friendly active fish. From 1.25" - 2" long. About 1.5 years old.

1 "false Siamese algae eater" AKA "Thailand Flying Fox"

Looks much like a real siamese algea eater, but isn't. Similar fish. 1.5" long.

1 Yoyo loach

Bottom feeder, very nice looking, very active. A little skiddish, but friendly. 2" long.

3 Florida flag fish

They eat algea. Slightly aggressive. Okay with larger Amano shrimp, but will eat smaller shrimp. They ignore smaller fish. About 1.25" long.

4 Rummy Nose Tetras

Very colorful fun fish. They swim in a school. Standard fish food. About 1" long.

I am selling each fish for $2.00, except for the goldfish which are free. I would give them all away, but I am afraid of some idiot killing them. So, the price is negotiable, depending on how many you want. Plants are free along with the fish. Just pick out what you want. Some of these plants are worth more than the fish, but I've got to get rid of it all.

A better forum?it doesnt exist,lol.

Good luck with the sell. Are you willing to ship any of the plants or fish?If I were closer and had the money id get the amanos from you as Ive always wanted to have a few.Alas,I do not.

Also if you do not sell them then look into a local fish store to take them in.Also a local aquarium club would be a great place to look for a home as well.

Thanks! Yea, I don't know of any local clubs here. Shipping would cost me more than it's worth and I'm not looking to take a loss. Ultimately, I'll give them away if I have to, but I am pretty sure I can sell them one way or another.
