Default online fish store-good or evil?

Does anyone know about online fish stores? any good ones?
note I am very picky about fish always got to pick out exactly what fish I want out of the tank so stores are best for me but not any good stores with nice variety nearby I need to drive about an 1.5 hr each way to get to a good one

I have never purchased any fish from an online store. I have purchased alot of fish from different people at this site: AquaBid.com - Sell or buy aquarium related equipment and fish in an auction format!

Everyone I purchased from was very good.

I purchased fish from aquariumfish.net and was very satisfied with the fish and the service. Huge selection too.

Ordering fish online has worked for many. I think there are two (possibly three) big things in favor of online stores:
1) You can get fish you can't get locally.
2) Fish are shipped directly to you, so all the extra transport and changes involved in being shipped to a LFS first are cut out, so less stress and probably less exposure to other fish which might carry disease.
3) It can be much cheaper, particularly when you are making a large order.

Still it's hard too beat seeing and choosing the fish as you say. When buying from the LFS they get to deal with unhealthy and DOA fish.
