Send as goods, make sure address is correct so it makes it easier to print label.

Good luck on your 55 - that's a perfect size aquarium!

A word of warning - I purchased plants from someone who said they were snail free to get my planted 55 going and I have yet to get rid of the snails (after a year). This is no way is to suggest people here are not great and helpful individuals. I'm the one that should have taken more steps in insure what I was placing in my tank was indeed snail free.

I'm to the point here I am thinking of tossing all the plants and all the substrate and starting over because the problem simply refuses to go away. It could have been avoided had a bouht those rotten tube plants are truly are snail free.

Re: looking for live plants

Let me know how the plants made it please.

jimsz; get some assassin snails. Works wonders. A massive outbreak of snails is usually caused by over feeding. Can also be helped by pulling many out. Pulling plants and tossing most likely won't get rid of them because the eggs and babies will hide in the most unlikely places. You can start from scratch, new substrate, new deco, new plants, but you will also need to replace the tank.
majerah1 and vreugy like this.
