Default Java Moss Pads

I have 2 java moss pads for sale that are 2x2 in size and have been trimmed down very short on several occasions..I also have a few pads that are cut to various shapes for the contour of my tank when they were in there..I would like $12.00 per pad shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states..this make a excellent ground cover if kept short.

I'm in the same boat as Hawk, pretty much. I've been working on cleaning and setting up an old aquarium to get back into the hobby, and I have run into a lot of things that needed replacing. Thus, I have already gone over budget, and I haven't even ordered fish yet! I may just have to run an empty planted tank for a bit. Still, I did read your other thread about taking a break from fishkeeping for a while, Rick. I must say that reading some of your previous (and very informative) posts was one of the reasons I joined up here instead of other places. That being the case, I would like to help you out, but I'm running on fumes. Just how much of a time crunch are you in? I might be able to swing buying one in, say, a week or so? If you are in more of a rush than that, best of luck in selling them!

Side note: Despite the blurry photo, I'm sure that is a wonderful specimen. If it came out of any of the tanks you've photographed before, I'm sure it is pristine and beautiful when viewed underwater.

This might be a silly question, but is there any upkeep with these? Any special needs or anything? I would love to have some but I'm completely new to live plants in an aquarium..

generally they are pretty hardy plant..you dont need high ouput lighting to keep them..i make the pads so people can use them as a foreground plat with they so choose so i keep my pads trimmed short..usually at 1/2 inch. but to answer you main question..they are a low tech moss..
