HEy,you are my new best friend!Ill definately get some,as I breed wilds and they woud be so happy!Wondering,do you ever find the seeds?I want a tree for shade in my backyard, but I dont see the reasoning to buy just the seeds, and pay so much shipping.(They ask for 12.99 shipping, and the seeds cost a dollar, lol)If you could add one or two with the leaves, then it would help a whole lot more!

Hi Majerah,
The seeds are nuts....plus the tree itself loves really hot weather thats why you will only find the tree in South East Asia...but I can add a few seeds/nuts with the leaves no problem....one customer reckons he managed to grow a small tree in his greenhouse in the USA. Regards Jeff & Wan |

They are for many thinhs.bubblenesters are comforted by the tea like stain,as its more natural. It heals wounds, softens the water and is also a mild antifungal. It helps hold the bubblenest together, and floating one of the leaves lets the male nest under it.They almost always choose to nest under them if they are in the tank.

Learn something new every day! Thanks. That was interesting. So are they good for any/all aquariums? I have Neon/Flame/Zebra Tetras, Angelfish, Cory, Pleco, Loach.

They are,but not all fish will like the tannins. The tea color can be removed by charcoal.Look up your fish and see if they come from blackwater streams. If so,they will love em!

Hi Suenell,
As well as Bettas, these leaves are also ideal for gouramis, killiefish, tetras, arrowana’s, discus, angelfish, South American dwarf cichlids, corys, plecos, some rasboras some cat-fishes and crustaceans. You can even use the leaves as the substrate in the tank together with bog wood or a tree stump with roots to create a fantastic Amazon look for blackwater fishes. If you checkout our website there is a webpage with quite a lot of info on how to use the leaves in your Aquarium. Regards Jeff & Wan |

Jeff,I am very interested still, but have been trying to get my CO2 setup going. Are you familiar with any of the wild bettas?I am sure my macrostomas come from clear waters but I was wondering if maybe the addition of a leaf or two would help entice my male to hold. They hold for three days like clockwork but always swallow on the third and I have yet to discover why.
