Unfortunately I can no longer give these fish the propper size tank. i bout the Irridecents whan I was first starting this hobby and didn't know how large they would get. They are both approximately 8" or so long.
The Oscar was only supposed to be a temporary fish until my freind and his wife could finish setting up a tank for them. unfortunately they are no longer together and I am now stuck with this fish. He's great just fartoo big for my space right now. He is approximately 8"-10". I am not sure how to ship fish like this and have them survive so I'd prefer a local pickup. If your in the Chicagoland area I can bring them to you. I am only asking $10 each as an adoption fee. If you have any questions please PM me and i"ll answer as quickly as I can. This is an older pic of the Oscar: ![]() and a slightly newer pic of the oscar: ![]() an older pic of the Irridecent Sharks: ![]() and a more recent pic(they are the 2 on the upper right): ![]()

If you cant find anyone to take them, you might check with some lfs or even the zoo or public aquarium.
One thing that I noticed though is that the Oscar looks to have hole in the head disease. You might want to start some treatment for that.

Thaks, I've tried all of my LFS's and will take them. I'm not even sure where to start asking for the Shedd though I had thought of that once.
Also, The other 2 Oscars I had did die of HITH Disease but from my experience with it this guy doesn't have it. Am I missing something? What are the treatments available as from my research there is no cure for it. The tiger Oscar in this pic had it but he is now gone and has been for over a year now... ![]()
