I'm selling four packages of about a 1/4 cup each of Lesser DuckWeed (aka: minature or dwarf duckweed). This should cover the surface of a 10gl aquarium.
Some folks love it, others don't. It grows like crazy in most tanks. It makes a nice floating carpet. It is very useful in cycling tanks. If you have a tank with goldfish they will eat all of it. Here is a picture of the "boom" I made to keep the duckweed from being stirred up by the HOB filter.
It's a piece of 1/2" clear tubing with suction cups siliconed to the ends. ![]()

Same stuff as standard "air line" tubing, typically vinyl 1/2" diameter. But you could use pretty much any kind of tubing. I had one that was rigid tube and it pressure fit avaunt the sides of the tank.
