Both are medium to high light. The RI is a little more forgiving but both will get leggy without enough light.

I would say the RI would do the best of the two.

All of what I have listed will do ok in the low to moderate lighting. The foreground plants are the ones that require the most lighting like the Lobelia and Downoi.

I've never seen the RI before in my LFS, but it looks gorgeous! I'm in the process of setting up a 75 gallon and wasn't sure if my lighting would support compact growth for it though... I'm using a T5 HO dual bulb fixture, running a 67000K 32W bulb and a Colormax 32W bulb, both Coralife brand (if that matters). I do not use any CO2 system though. Would that be sufficient, or would it tend to get a bit leggy with this setup?

With that depth, the lighting would be a bit low for nearly all foreground plants. Sry

Darn, good to know, thanks! I might have to look into adding another lighting fixture in the future.

Oops, apparently I completely misremembered the wattage on my bulbs. The 75 gallon is running two 54W bulbs, not 32W. Would that work for the RI?
