Default fish I need to adopt out

I have a few of my little blue ladies I need to adopt out. These are wonderful fish but they are too old to be bred anymore, and some of them are not good breeding candidates anyhow.Shipping is going to be $15.00 priority.I will only ship on Monday or Tuesday to ensure they get there before the weekend.I will show a pic and give a little info on each one in the following post.

Aw Bev! I have Dwarf Gouramis in one tank and in the other I have Angels and the temp is 78-79 so that's no good either. (If that wasn't the case, I'd take one for each tank!) :D

First up is Bertha.

This lady is huge and fiery. It took me nine pics to get a half way decent one to post.
She would have been a perfect show fish except when she was younger her and a sibling swallowed a hair and it was stuck in their gills.Because of this one of her gills is mis-shaped.She can breathe fine however, and its just cosmetic.Im asking $5.00 for her, just so I know she goes to a great home.

Next is her sister, who is unnamed.

She is missing her ventrals, this was before I stopped feeding microworms. Also she has the muffed up gill like her sister, but its not as easy to see on her.She is pretty small.A very sweet little girl but she loves attention. She should not be in a sorority becaus eof how small she is,she will be picked on too much.Shipping cost and she is yours.

Last of the females is another sibling. She is perfect in every way.Form, finnage, color, health and temperament. She is a great fish.Five for her as well.

I have no clue why all three decided to look left, lol.Anyhow I also have two males who I want to rehome. One has fin damage on his tail, especially after he decided to fight my siphon while I was distracted. So Ill UL some of him as well, just be warned I may hold off on shipping him for a week or so to be sure his tail does ok.

Bev they are so pretty and each looks so different - are they from the same batch of eggs? (Weird that they swallowed a hair... they swallowed the same one? So... they were connected for a while? Lol.)

How old is a female when she is too old to be bred? (How long do they live?)

Thanks,Holly!Yes all siblings, from Mohan/seig Illig cross,if you know anything about show fish. They have great genes.

You could probably breed the two big ladies to a younger male, but I just dont have the funds anymore to buy any quality fish to work my lines.Average lifespan of a healthy fish is about six years. Most are considered prime breeding age at about four months old and too old to breed at about nine months. Many breeders breed them alot in those few months though.I myself,if the fish is healthy many males are calmer around nine months.

It was strange how the swallowed it.it was my hair, and I was feeding them BBs when they were still pretty young. They vigorously snatched at a clump which was right on my hair, lol.I fought for two hours getting the hair out.One it was pretty easy, the other it was like really stuck.I was literally pulling her out of the water with the hair.Yes they were connected for a bit, lol.Silly fat fishes.
