The GCAS is a casual club of freshwater hobbyists of all experience levels who meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. I usualy net salvini, plecos, jaguar, gold killie, blue fin killi, and other assorted small fish. If I line fish I can get oscars, P-Bass, gar, pickrell, and bowfin. Some of the fish I keep or use for feeders in my small tank (180g) outside.

Im still looking for a good place for midas and to line fish for snakehead.

not by much though, my main tank is a 210g.

also, I took my daughter(5) netting for a short (1 hour) trip. caught about 20 small salvini, countless talapia (threw back), one small jaguar, and five sailfin plecos (also thrown back). no pics due to the watchfull eye being otherwise occupied.

my daughter has officially claimed a net for her own and has decided that we should go netting every day... isn't fatherhood great!

Rich,

Sorry I couldn't co-ordinate the netting trip with you. It was a short trip and planned at the last minute this afternoon.

Did you make it out anyway?
