Percs are kinda boring IMO. I would suggest Clarki's, skunk, tomatoe, maroon,or cinnamon.

The skunks will stay smaller. If he just gets one or a pair and another fish like a goby or something it should be fine in a 29BC.

Nothing really wrong with them. They just do not have much of a personality. I have a pair. They were one of my first SW fish. They eat out of my hand and everything but they do not host anything.

Personally I like the tomatoes. They are alittle different from the norm.

I have a false perc. they are extreamly hardy! Can take almost any changing conditions which is great for a small system. They don't usually care for a host. I got an anenomy in case and he ignores it. Just certer most of your built up rocks or they pick a corner and never leave! Tomatos are great but they almost need an anenomy.

As long as you have a refugium, no anmenone is needed.

First off I do not understand what having or not having a refugium has to do with an anemone.
Second many tank raised clowns do not ever host.
And the last is when you are researching which fish to have in your tank take into consideration the size that they will reach when fully grown or have somewhere for them to go when fully grown.
