Yea, list looks ok. Might get by with the Six Line in there, may be alittle tight for that one though.

I would not put them together, your liable to end up losing a Cleaner Shrimp.

What will your setup be? Will it have coral and/or inverts? will it be FOWLR(fish only with live rock)? This will help with your question lol.
Just remember, the more fish you have, the more difficult it will be in keeping the stress level down. They might get really shy or get sick and/or aggressive. My advice with that small tank is to have 2 fish that are introduced at the same time and have an assortment of inverts like crab and maybe keep some easy-caring coral like sea mushrooms and zooad's. This will let you have a mini ocean while still having some fish. I keep low light coral under flourescent lighting with ease without a protien skimmer.

Im reconsidering the 20 and may sell it to get a 40 gallon instead.. and yes at first it would be folwr but once i gain more experience i will eventually add some soft corals. for filtration.. i would like to have a deep sand bed with ample live rock and water flow coupled with a large skimmer.. no refug or sump i dont have the room.. but i dont plan on have hard corals or even any corals in the near future.. oh and yes simple invernts.. hermits snails.. and i dumped the six line wrasse.. i would rather have less fish that are happier then more that are not.. and what type of flourescent lighting so you have?? i just have the regular stock light with two bulbs on now.. would this be enough even for a fowlr?? do you think the coraline algae could bleach?

Normal flourescent are fine for FOWLR tanks. Coralline can bleach out, turn white.

They all do work together but your only doing a FOWLR, no need to watch everything. What you need to watch is Nitrates, Calcium (LR still needs some) and Salinity. If you wnat Coralline growth, you'll need to also watch Alkalinity, Magnesium and Phospahtes.

No copper. Its bad for a saltwater tank. Inverts, corals and live rock. I dose only what's needed.

Sure, you can use the filter as just like a Carbon Reactor. Running just carbon in it.
