Default LED strips...which one?

I'm trying to add a bluer tint and some shimmer to my 12 gallon nano cube dx. I am looking at the Ecoxotic Stunner strips and the Current USA truelumen strips. Anyone have an opinion of which one I should get? Experience, suggestions, etc. are appreciated...
thx

I just converted from a 96w Powerquad PC to two Ecoxotic Panorama strips and the results are great. I would pass on the Stunners unless all you are looking for is blue supplementation as they just don't have enough wattage to make things stand out. The two Panoramas draw about 23 watts combined compared to the powerquad which was 98 watts plus the heat it generated. Big difference in power consumption at 10 hours a day.

The stunners will give that awsome glowing look in the sunup, sundown mode but will probaly have you wanting some thing more in the day time mode. I run a panorama blue and white for daytime mode but when I installed it gave off a pinkish color so I added the stunner. The lights I use are on a 5.5 gallon lps/softie reef.

if you go with Truelumen get the pro. I bought the regular ones and they about burned down my tank with their sizzeling and half the lights going out in 2 days after purchase. Reefbright makes a nice product.

just build your own from a set of royal blue crees. the 3 watt leds will give you better light and you'll need fewer of them. strips are mostly for adding a bit of color here and there and not really for primary lighting..
