wuz up yall in my 12 gallon jbj i have a clown, a gramma, and a skunk shrimp,and two small blue legged hermits. what can i add to get rid of some of that stuff? i also had some brown algea on the sand but it appears to be diminishing little by little. the tank has been running with fish for about 4 days...i already had the algea to begin with when i bought the live rock but now im ready to get rid of it haha i would appreciate some advice and any suggestions on my last fish to get?

I feel your pain. I had a messy hair algae problem in my 85 gal marine tank. It took 6 months to clear up. This is what I did and it worked but there's probably a better/faster way:
*Reduced light *Fed the livestock less *Used a toothbrush weekly to free as much of the algae as I could and netted it *Followed the toothbrush chore with a 15% water change *Cleaned the filters more often *Put 2 pin cushion urchins in - they were (are still are) amazing It was a lot of work but I didn't use any chemical additives |

my 2 cents
put some turbo snails in and more flow in the tank and like said before more water changes and less feeding. All 4 of my tanks get feed every 3 days. hope this helps zona |
