Default 2 questions

Okay I was just wondering if I needed to be adding anything to my 12 gallon nano cube dx. I was thinking about the Seachem Reef Plus. It is just going to be softies probably.

Second, I am planning on a Yellow Watchman Goby, an Ocellaris clown, a masked goby, I have a CUC, and maybe a pistol shrimp to pair with the YWG. The question is, can I put 2 masked gobies in there with the YWG and the clown, or will that overload the tank? I don't have any shrimp in there right now, but I have 10 astrea snails, 2 red leg hermits, and 3 blue leg hermits. The reason I even thought of that as a possibility is because the Masked gobies are so small that they probably wouldn't make too much of an impact on the bioload, and then the one could have a buddy.
Thanks
Kaiden

It is "recommended" (especially with 3 goby's) that they should be kept in a minimum of 30 gallons. I would say just go with the yellow watchmen and clown fish, however, I do think as long as you are responsible and keep up with your weekly water changes and don't get careless, that you could definitely keep all of them happy and healthy in a 12. Good luck

BTW: Do remember that yellow watchmen like deep sand beds and places to hide!

Wink Re: 2 questions

With the inverts you have, your tank is already overloaded. With the fish you want to add, you need at least a 30 gallon. Overloaded salt water tanks can have high nitrate and low ph problems which means a possible algae infestation and fish and invert deaths. Always understock small tanks (<20G). If you have the money, get a protien skimmer.

Thanks everyone. I think that I will just do the one masked goby, the clown, and the watchman goby. I'm doing weekly water changes of 10-20%, so I think as long as I keep up on it, the tank will be fine.
Thanks for the feedback!
