Default Rio 6 hf pump? Biocube 29

I am looking to replace the pump in my Biocube 29 for more flow. Do you guys have any suggestions? I was leaning towards the Rio 6 hf, or the max jet 1200. But, I have never used either of them, so if you have used either let me know which one would be a better choice. Thanks guys.

Have you used both? Also, which Maxi jet? The 1200? Is the maxi jet quiet, and does it give off a lot of heat? I am looking for one that isn't going to raise the temp of my water. Thanks for the response.

I used the maxi jet 1200 in my old nano cube and didnt notice a temp difference. The reason I recommended the maxi-jet is due to the reliability of the pump. I have had numerous rios go bad on me.

ok.....thanks guys. You have persuaded me to go for the maxi-jet 1200. I was also afraid the rio 6 hf would have to much flow at 350 gph for a 29 gal biocube. Plus, I have a kor power head in the tank as well. So I think the maxi-jet will be perfect for my tank. One more question......will the maxi jet fit easily in the third chamber without making any modifications? Also, can you use the stock fittings in the biocube to hook up to the maxi-jet?
