so long story short, i got a 55 gal reef tank, been running now about 8 months, everything is just getting comfterble, i think, and so set up a 12gal refugium 2 days ago and stuck a skimmer on the intake side, and well, my question is everything looked like it was great for the first 2 days and this morning i noticed that the skimmer stopped overflowing the foam and ive adjusted it a few times with no luck, also in the center where my sand and rock and plants are at the top of the water seems to be a thin line of micro bubbles almost looks like foam, but its not carring over to the chamber with the return pump, i dont know if this is normal or should i turn the skimmer off or what, i know it should take about a couple weeks or more for everything to break but i dont want to continue if its not set up correctly. if anybody has any input or questions i would apretiate the advice. thanks
