Default Refugium on a 72 bow?

Hi all, have some questions about my ideas on my home built refuge, from the overflow box on the tank i will take the 1 1/4" flex and run it to the refuge that is a 20" tallx 15" x 15" plexi box that is higher than my wet/dry, then also gravety fed to the wet/dry then back to the tank, no baffels or anything in the refuge other than rock, sand and plant life, do you all think this will work, and how much light will be needed?
