Does the moonligh seem way too bright? Even the instructions make it sound like it will be very dim, but you could easily read a newspaper by the light. I've been on plenty of night dives, and I don't remember being able to see without a flashlight at all. Granted even 3 feet is much darker than 8 inches in water, but these two little guys are bright. It is absolutely beautiful with the dancing lights, but I am a little concerned that they may bother little folks in the future/interrupt necessary cycles. Is this color/level just acceptable to marine life (like red light in a dark room)? I am curious if any of the more experienced here have one of these set-ups as I have not really been able to find a lot of reference to the LED Advanced version or the 28g nano cube. I think the 4 actinics are even less bright!

Well I don't have that exact model but the one I have is also pretty bright but it is a blue light.
it is on a 46G bow front freshwater tank and the fish settle down except the emerald cory's |

I have that LED nano. it is Way too bright, and there is no way to dim it besides putting screens over the light itself. none of my corals nor fish enjoyed being in such bright light.

is it the moon light that is too bright if so you can go to lowes and get some blue electrical tape and cut a pice to cover the blue led's I put two layers on top of all mine in my 46G and it worked great. |

no my moonlight/and the dawn light are fine..its the actual daylight led's that are too bright for my set up..but with some screens over them they do ok..too bad the dimmer was/is not included in this set up..not many other options for an all in one LED aquarim kit systems out there
