I thought someone recommended you a reef octopus on another post already. That one is awesome and when they recommended it it was on sale for 135, to be honest I ended up buying one from that post and it has been fantastic. It's like 170 now which kinda sucks but free shipping at 175 so you can add some coral food or something and get free shipping.

It has a drain in the cup that you can attach a hose to for drainage. In the first week I got half a bottle of dark green nastiness. I had the hose going to one of those large smart water bottles. So half of that in a week... I highly recommend that one. here is the link again.

it really is a nice one. I have it, love and wouldn't lie. Here's a pic of it the day I unboxed it so you know I aint lying lol.

If you can't afford one I do have a seaclone I can give you free just pay for shipping. It needs a pump though. The recommended pump is a maxijet 1200. I have to say though it put tons of tiny bubles in my display and barely worked. I hated it.

Don't know if they are availible in the USA yet but Marine Source is a brand growing bigger here in the UK the Devil range always gets good reviews.

If your unsure about what you want, I highly recommend reading this article.
Skimmer Design 101
It's about a DYI project, but it has a really great write up about different kinds of skimmers and how they work...
