I have had an Amiracle Maxi Reef 75 with the original overflow and Rio 1700 return pump for over a year, with no problems. I came home from work and the return pump was pumping more than the overflow was draining. What is happening? Is there too much water in the system? Why is the pump suddenly pumping more water now?
Thanks |

Agree with Craig, check your drain carefully, maybe some algae is growing in there blocking it, some fish or snail is stuck there, bubble, etc..
