Default Newest, brightest LED's yet!

Hey all!
I found out today that Cree has released a new LED that can output 1000 lumens at 3 amps, 3.6 volts. This raises the bar to 10 watts per LED for 7.00 per LED. This is awesome news for all of us reefers and planted tankers. 5 of these LEDs can output more light than almost any other lighting source outside of a MH. But that can be matched easily now. 28 of these can equal a 250 watt MH at its best. Hopefully we get to see how this comes about sooner than later.

Dave, the post is from last year.
But I agree with you, I thought that the 5w LEDs were the thing if you could afford them. Thought the 10w were just putting LED's together in a lamp. But I do know they do make LED flood lamps, single LEDs, but don't think they are Crees.
