O.K. here is the skinny. This is my new high tech hands off system. The lay out 90gal. reef ready tank 30gal. long sump with a mag 12 return pump and a ASM G2 skimmer. 500watt controllable titanium heater and loads of macro algae reef mud and live sand. That's the sump. Lighting is 220watt VHO for actinic, 400watt 12k MH daytime lighting for about 8.5 hours a day. 2 Vortech MP40w power heads and a aqua controller with direct 8 power supply. JBJ auto top off with a 18gal. resavior. Now here is the problem I want to add a Kalk reactor to the ATO so I don't have to add cal & alk daily as I do with the other tanks. So I picked up this unit
What I can't tell is what is the inlet and what is the out let. I had the outlet on the right side and the inlet in the middle and what would happen was when the ATO would kick on and then cut off the reactor would keep pulling water. So I thought I would ask if anyone was running something like this on there system. Here is the a pic of the tank: Thanks in advance for all the help.
