I've found a super cool concept heater online and before I buy it I want to ask opinions on it's use. Has anyone used the Hydor External Thermal Heater? It's got three positive reviews on the website I'm shopping, one even claims the 300w heater keeps his 150g tank at 86 degrees. It's an inline heater, it connects to the plumbing in the sump, likely the return line.

I have had a couple of them. Very good, but follow the tank size from the manufacturer---150 gallons is way over for one heater. The nuts that hold the hoses on come off very easily. Remove them and use worm screw clamps instead, to hold the hoses on.
