Default 72 gallon bowfront lighting

Hey everyone,

Previous owner of freshwater tanks. I just "inherited" a 72 gallon oceanic bowfront with overflow. I'd like to start a reef aquarium with some coral, live rock, inverts, and a few fish. Wondering what would be a good light fixture to use. I like the idea of lunar lights cause the tank will be where it will viewed mostly at night anyway.

Any direction would be great, i've been looking at various marineland and coralife fixtures but not sure what size I need or if it will mount to a bowfront, i don't want to hang the fixture.

mount it the same way you would mount a rectangular tank. If you wanna grow corals your gonna need a pretty expensive light.

Hey mk4gti, why do you say that? I'm looking at this light for my 40g long, Reef Aquarium Lighting & LED Lights: Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System

Would this not be good enough to grow coral? What is it about the lights that allow the coral to thrive? Because it's a Reef Capable LED Lighting System I don't see why it wouldn't be enough to help your coral grow. plus the reviews say that'll it'll work. That's why it's more expensive than your standard LED systems, because these are Reef Capable.
