Everything, water conditions, etc is fine
For now, will -2 female guppies -1 male/female gourami (4inch) -1 FEMALE platy Work? I had a male platy b4, and he's been attacking my 2 female guppies, like chasing them around and stressing them. Now i plan to get a female platy instead. Will female platy be fine with a male/female gourami and 2 female guppies? I've heard about this thing called the "dominance," thingy, will it happen to my 2 female guppies and my 1 female platy? If it does happen, will it be fatal? Thank you :D |

No! Keep the gourami separately, just like I keep the betta. I have a similar situation here - swordtails and a betta. as much as I know the gourami are similar to the betta in many aspects. it largely depends on a fish personality if it is suitable for community tank, but in general these asian fish tend to fight (and even harm) our peaceful american friends - platies, guppies, mollies, swordtails... so, to avoid any risk just keep the gourami in another tank (any large bowl or jar will do the trick until you get another tank)

Is it a Dwarf Gourami? Gouramis are fairly peaceful fish. Dwarf Gouramis will show violence to each other. I think your stocking level is decent. I wouldn't remove any of them unless you witness something going on.

Just get one male Dwarf Gourami. The regular ones are too big for a ten gallon imo.
