Default What fish should i get

Ok so I have a pictus catfish which eats any fish it can fit in its mouth but is really small so it isn't a problem now but later it might be.I want a small type of schooling fish (maybe platies or mollies?) that he won't eat and i know that kind of is a problem so I would like some suggestions on some fish that might work I'm thinkking maybe balloon mollies because they are really fat and probably won't fit in his mouth and also don't say any fish that would nip his fins if possible please.Originally I wanted Glofish (no not goldfish) but then I realised that he would eat them in a second so should I leave him alone? just get some more pictus catfish? (I heard they like small schoools) or just get a fish that is like tetras or mollies and platies? Wow I got carried away with this sorry for making this so long I'm just a confused newbie lol.

Balloon mollies suffer from a genetic deformity that limits their ability to swim and usually causes them to suffer from digestive problems. If I had a pet store, I would not sell them, however popular they are, as it encourages their production. A deformed fish with swimming problems in with a pictus? Lunch.

How big's your tank? You'd be better with tankmates too large for him to eat, but what depends on the room you have.
