I probably shouldnt have...but I did. I went with the intention of searching out some new substrate--potting soil and sand was the plan, but neither was available because it's the off season I guess. Blah. So then I decided to wander to the LFS. I picked up some algea wafers for the pleco, a new bubble stone (I thought the one given to me was busted, this one works better but I think the pump just isnt strong enough to put air through the whole thing because it's still only bubbling on half the strip) Also bought 2 mystery snails. Then I came home and a friend of mine stopped by, she is clearing out her tank and brough me two 3 spot gourami's. I wasnt *quite* ready for more fish...but I took them. Now I need to learn all about them haha

LOL It's alright, my husband already thinks I've lost it with the fish tank. He wouldnt bat an eye lash if he came home and another tank was here. Not yet though, too much to do for this one!

try looking at lowes or home dept for peat moss and sand, they should still have it in the back i just got sand tonight for the tank in setting up

Hee hee.... Summer's gonna' have another tank soon.... she just doesn't know it - or want to admit it - yet.... ;)

Don't worry, the longer you have the tanks, and the more you involve your hubby, the more he'll get into it. Mike couldn't have cared less about the tanks before - and now, a year later, he helps me pick out fish, figure out the layouts for aqua scaping, and even talks to the fish.... yep, he does. Oh, and he helps me feed the frogs now too!

Mine just gives me this blank stare when I start talking about my plans. I'm sure he's thinking he was sorry to ever say yes to getting a free fish tank. He still hasnt noticed the new fish, and i havnt said anything. The kids noticed almost immediately lol

Told Mick today I wanted to see if the landlord would give me their tank.He told me no more tanks,lol.I told him I wanted to combine the 25 and 29.I dont think He bought it though...
