Update!
Just an update people i got new plants! (see signature) and my ghost shrimp are pregnant! i also got a new catfish... any suggestions on plant additions that will go with what i have? thanks everyone

What kind of catfish did you get?
Congrats' on the plants! There is a type of Ghost shrimp that needs brackish water for the eggs to hatch and one kind that needs fresh water.... so you may or may not get babies.

Aw! That's great! (Just a tip - Oto Cats like to be in groups of 3+ so I'd add 2 more to his little family.) I've got 3 in my 20g and they always hang out like a little posse! Just make sure that you have extra filtration (since your tank will be heavily/over stocked) and make sure the water params' are perfect - Otos are super sensitive.... my first one died and I realized I had a Nitrate issue.
