Made a DIY CO2 system today.... those things are a pain to get perfect... also bought a penguin biowheel 150 filter!! soo happy about that. Bought a BANJO CATFISH.. its freakin sweet! im up to 2 oto cats and got a new java fern! also does anyone know where i can get cheap java moss...` and i found some cool looking wood in my backyard... ive heard if you boil it then soak it it could be use it anybody know if that will work?

As to the java moss - no idea. As to the driftwood - you can boil and soak, yes, I've also heard of people baking the wood as well. As long as you sterilize it and the wood is dense enough that it will not rot too quickly when submerged, then you should be good.

I agree with the CO2 statement about them being a pain to get perfect, it took me like 3 weeks to find all the leaks and tune my recipe and whatnot lol. Like Gizmo said you can use any wood as drift wood as long as you thoroughly sterilize it by means of heat.

I found some java moss on aquabid should get it tomorow pretty cheap too $12 for 6 square inches, and my driftwood is coming along nicely ill post pictures soon thanks guys!!
