Default Today is the day?

At last Im going to move my fish over to the big tank today. First Im going to install a canister filter. Ive been adding more fish gradually and I now have 10 neon tetras, 5 mollies, 4 platys, 5 corys and 2 plecos in the big tank with no big water quality issues. Im going to put in the remaining fish that is...5 glass catfish, 4 dwarf gouramis and 4 guppies. Is that ok or is it too many at once?

I would do no more than 5 at a time. you could get away with doing all of them at once, but you might end up with an Ammonia spike. Can you move some of the media from the old tank to the new tank? That will help.

Maybe I should be more patient. I have already moved things from the old tank to the new...some gravel and a used filter sponge. My big tank has cycled pretty quick with these.

It's not hard to cycle a seeded tank. I did my 75 in 15 days after I seeded it.

Its a 200 liter tank. My high hopes for moving some fish today has been put on hold now cause I found a couple of fish in the big tank with ich today. Ive started treatment and installed my new jbl e900 canister pump. I hope that it wont be too long into the new year when my fish can finally move home.
