Just wondering how long I should be testing my 20g now that the fish are in after the fishless cycle. They have been in for 8 days now, and since Monday's reading of .10ppm ammonia, there has been 0 ammonia!!! :D There have also been 0 nitrites this whole time and I'm keeping Nitrates under control with the Nitrazorb. Can I stop testing daily to be sure it's not mini cycling?
Also, I still have some old 10g filter media in the 20g filter, which I was going to leave there for a few more weeks, so as not to start a mini cycle by taking it all out at once. But, I've got a bag with gravel and and old sponge from the 10g sitting on the floor of the tank still.... it's really ugly.... do you think now that it's been a week with everyone in that the bag can come out with out causing a mini cycle? Thanks!

Go ahead and take out the gravel, but leave the filter pad in,just in case.Besides it may come in handy later anyhow.
Im not sure on the testing but I think it would be ok to just test when doing the weekly maintenance. However let someone else chime in to be sure. After its established you should be able to go without testing unless you see an issue with the fish or are negligent.

Thanks! That's what I though... leave the filter alone but take the ground bag out. And testing once a week for a while is probably fine too. Other than that, I don't normally test unless I see a problem... thanks again!
