I was told that Julii Cory's need to be at a temp' of around 77 degrees.
I am also planning on getting Harlequin Rasboras and Dwarf Gourami's. Are they compatible at that temp'? (I stuck my hand in the tank and that feels awful cold to me for a tropical fish.) Also, will these plants do ok at 77?: Elodea Hornwort Mayaca Fluvialitis, Hygro Difformis Dwarf Hygro, Melon Sword Java Fern Moss Balls I run my other tank at 80 degrees, because the frogs need the heat, and so far the cardinals, chili rasboras, honey gouramis, otos, snails and frogs are doing fantastic! So are the plants! (I just don't want the cold temp' of 77 to be deadly to any of the other fish or plants.)

FWIW, I've had emerald green cories in 81-82 degree water for months with no issue. I keep all that I have in 79-81 water.

77F is at the high end for Corys and Rasboras. A good temp for Corys, Tetras and Rasboras is 75F. Gouramiis like it a little warmer, especially when spawning. 80-82 is good for them. Plants do fine from 70-82F. They probably grow faster at the higher temp.
