Hi, i have a 45 gallon tank with one red velvet platty, 2 kissing gourmi and 2 blue gaurami. I was wondering what would be a good combination of tank mates for my aquarium? thank you for your help.

My friend has 7 50g tanks full of gouramis. He has had plecos, mollies, swordtails, guppies, platies, tetras, danios, rasboras, rainbowfish, barbs, loaches, and scavenger catfish. Hope this helps.

Kissing gouramis can grow to be a foot long and aren't suitable for small tanks. A local Chinese restaurant here has one in a 200-gallon tank that's big enough to be dinner for two. You might want to consider rehoming them or getting a much bigger tank.
