Default Surface Bubbles

I have 3 Oranda in my tank and in the past few days they seem to have found a new hobby.

They randomly go to the surface and create bubbles and then try to eat them which creates a snapping sound. The others won't usually do it unless the red cap starts it.

Is there any way to stop them doing this as I keep thinking that they will get to much air inside them?

What size is the tank?Usually they do this for air because the water quality is poor.Do you have a test kit?

I did tests yesterday before performing my water change and they all came back fine (master test kit).
