Default sump filtration enough??

hey everyone. i recently purchased a 125 gallon aquarium from a friend. the first owner had it set up as a salt water aquarium. when i bought the aquarium it had been converted to a fresh water system. i only gave 500.00 dollars for the whole system and its only three years old so i feel like i got a pretty good deal. the guy i bought it from delivered it and set it up for me. now to my question. this thing has what looks to be a 30 gallon sump under it. is that enough filtration or do i need to add more. all the parameters show to be good and the water stays crystal clear. ive kept fish for years but the biggest tank ive ever had is a 55 gallon with hang on filtration. any help will be much appreciated. thanks.

A 30g sump is right in the ballpark for a 125g tank.

A 30g sump should be fine, a 30g sump can hold a lot of media so it should work great.
