Default stocking q

sorry if this is in the wrong place, it's my first post.
I've got a 60l tank with 4 endlers, 3 platys and 3 amano shrimps.
Can I add more fish or is it fully stocked now?

Any suggestions on which fish would go well with the current ones if I can add some more?

Welcome to the site!

You're not fully stocked yet, but fairly close. My opinion...if you have any females in your current stock then I wouldn't put in anymore. Young are produced about every 30days and you could have quite a few fish before too long. Ex. my Guppy tank has doubled population in about 3 months, and it will probably do it again about 2 months after that.

They're all males so I don't have to worry about fry. Would you suggest getting a small shoal of small fish like tetras or rasboras or getting a 1 or 2 larger fish?

By all males I'm assuming you mean the Platys AND Endlers right? Because Platys will breed like no tomorrow as well.

I'd just add 2 more male Endlers, as they like to be in 6+. You could probably get a few more shrimp, and that's about it.

The platys are all males aswell. I bought just 1 platy when we first got the tank and when we decided to get a few more I found a lfs that didn't have loads in the tanks so it was easier to make sure that they were males.
I know the advice is to have a female with them but they're all really placid with each other and had no fighting so far

We did buy the fish as pets for the kids but I'm really enjoying looking after them so may get another 60l tank so I can get some different fish.

If you can afford it, try to go with a larger tank so you can get a variety of fish, and aren't limited by the tank size.

I'd like to get a larger tank but we've only got a small flat so haven't got the room for one. I'm wondering if I can sneak one into our bedroom without dh noticing.
I also haven't got anything strong enough to put a heavier tank on and in a 1st floor flat I'm worried about it going through the ceiling lol

You could always build your own stand.

We live in a 2 room apartment and we have a 20g tank and a 36g tank side by side along one wall of the living room. (You can always find room for a tank if you look hard enough!) ;)

I've had to take one of one of the platys out as he wouldn't leave the smaller one alone. Small platy has been hiding in the plants for the last few days and every time he come's out the larger platy has chased it back.

I took the larger platy out this morning and small platy is now happy swimming around the tank.

I'm going to find him a new home now but wondering what I can replace him with?
The tank looks really bare with just 4 tiny endlers and 2 really small platys. I don't want to get another platy as so far the 2 small ones seem to be ignoring each other so don't want to upset the balance and add another male platy (don't want a female, haven't got room for fry)

one word of advice if your getting a new tank.... Craigslist.com
I got all of my tanks for a great deal off of craigslist, dont buy new in this economy. i recently found a 40 gallon tank with lights, a heater, a top, 2 pengiun filters, and some ornaments for 40 bucks. good luck! (Fish are addicting so get used to always wanting to get more =D)
