Ok this is more of a 'what people would do themselves' question.
I already have the fish but as I posted previously i had one tank break on me so had to put the fish in my main tank which led to over-stocking. 150% according to 'aqadvisor' stocking calculator. I have in my main tank so far: 4 bolivian rams (one pair that are now spawning in the main tank) 5 Pearl Danios 12 Neon Tetras 5 Black Neons 4 Gourami 4 Peppered Corys 3 Hillstream Loach 3 Guppies But i now have a 26-27 gallon Long (give or take a gallon due to lip) and my main tank 33gallons tall. The question therefore is how would people split my current stocking over the 2 tanks to balance things to acceptable levels? I have an idea what i'd do but would like to see other peoples views

Maybe: 6 Neons, 5 Danios, 3 guppies and 4 cories in the smaller tank?
Then: 4 Rams, 4 Gourami, 3 Loaches and 6 Neons and 5 Black Neons in the larger tank? (Sorry, I'm never super at this.... just an idea..... like a tank with little guys then a tank with big guys - and a few little guys...) I hope this wasn't a horrible idea! Lol.

My initial idea was
33gl: All the neon tetras 2 Rams 4 gourami 3 loaches 26gl: 5 danios 2 Rams 5 Black Neons (might get a couple more to make them feel more comfortable) 4 Corys 3 Guppies The neons hated it when there was only 6-8 of them and were hardly ever seen hence i got some more and now they are full of colour and life so trying to avoid breaking them up again But my plans keep changing so im not sure what i want haha

That sounds good too! (I just kept all the bigger guys together 'cause I wasn't sure if they could be with all the small ones). but it would look good with big and small fish! With the 26g I wouldn't get too many more Black Tetras as you are approaching max capacity.

I'd put your Cories or your Guppies in the larger tank. I think you're flirting too close to the limit on the smaller tank. JMO.
