Default Stocking a 55gal

Hey guys, i'm new here. I recently got a 55 gallon aquarium. I have a good number or plants in it (mostly fake but 2 live ones) The fish I have in there now are
3 balloon mollys
2 white mollys (can't remember exactly what they are called)
2 sunburst platys
2 blue wag platys
1 red platy (can't remember it's real name)
2 corys
1 dwarf african clawed frog

I had some of them in my old 10 gal tank, but now that i have a bigger tank i want to get some really cool looking fish, so hit me up with your suggestions. I will get a placo eventually, and probably a loach at some point. Thanks guys

watch the frog, I think they like to eat fish. otherwise, you could add some angels (will eat the livebearer fry and keep the population down) or maybe some gourami?

With all the livebearers you will want something that will eat the fry or just leave it like it is and your tank will be full in no time. When you decide on getting a pleco, look into the smaller species and not a common as they will get to big for your tank. For loaches, look into khuli's, zebras or yoyo's and they do best in groups of 4 or more. Stay away from clown loaches as they get 12 inches and almost as big around.

I had a few ghost shrimp but the frog ate both of them pretty quick. I never thought about that, but he might have been eating the little frys and that's why i never see any babies. The featherfin catfish looks pretty good.
I will look into some angelfish. thanks guys any other ideas?

The pictus cats are predatory and should be with at least one other. I'd scrap that, but other than that, prepare for the over-run of fry!

My personal favorite is a rainbow shark. Mine is peaceful with all my other fish, he looks good in the tank and he's got such a personality...

I'd advise staying away from clown loaches and common pleco's too, they get too big. You could get them but be prepared to part with them when they get bigger, especially the pleco, i've seen some that are roughly 2', and some that have spines that are messed up since some guy decided it'd look cool in a 10 gallon tank until it got too big.

I like rasbora's and cardinal tetra, a big school of either would look impressive in a 55. problem with a lot of the livebearer's i've had is they seem to die from stress the best i can tell. i've found they're ok by themselves in 20g size tanks without other fish.

I got an angelfish today
I was probably going to to order a zebra loach and a Bristlenose or a clown pleco
