Well, if any of you have been following my past discus problems...I still have one of my babies left. One of the discus made it. He/she appears healthy with no clamped fins, but now that he is the only fish that survived, he hasn't eaten though in about a week. He lays low, and hides out, somewhat like he always has. This particular discus has always been a shy one for the past year, but now he is being shy, and not eating at all. I have tried a variety of flavorful foods for finicky eaters, but to no avail.
Would a temp. change stimulate his appetite? |

Have you tried to spot feed him?
Fish can go a week no problem without eating, I am quite sure he/she is munching on something in the tank at some point if it hasnt gotten skinny on you. Garlic and paprika infused foods are a great stimulant. Have you tried live blackworms, Even my sick ones eat those. |

I get my picky guys to eat bloodworms by using tweezers.I pick up a worm or two and kinda move them in from of the fish. Its nature to bite at moving food.Blackworms are good too, from what i hear.Been to scared of contamination to feed though.
