Default Something New

Hello All,

These little orange "blobs" appeared in 3 of the 4 corners of my small tank yesterday evening. They are above the water line, and my two Mollys seem to be guarding them from the other fish. Are these eggs? If not, does anyone know what they are?

Looks like mystery snail eggs, they lay them above water line.

Okay, then that makes it a little stranger. I don't have any snails. Never have. Hmmmmm ... weird.

Thanks for the info!

Definately doesn't look like Briggs eggs to me. Too low on the glass. Of course..not to mention that there are none in the tank. Is it possible to get a clearer picture of them? Sparked my curiosity.

I'll give it a shot ... ... and here it is. There were 6 "blobs" when I left this morning, but this one is all that's left when I got back home. It appeared that the Danios were eating it, and found it quite yummy. I know it looks like it's out of focus but it actually, or looks like it anyway, has a clear skin or "sack" with the orange inside of it. Those tentacle looking things are where the Danios were taking bites.
