Soap in the Fish Tank
We just got a 30 gallon tank about a week ago and my roommate was trying to get something out of the tank with a spoon and as soon as he touched the water bubbles started forming around the spoon. Now wherever the filter pours water back into the tank there are soap bubbles. I know that soap is lethal to fish, but will trace amounts of soap on a spoon be enough to kill them. What should I do?

if possible transfer you fish to a new tank and completly clean the tank. if you cant just do 50% water changes as much as you can for a week
the more you do it the better but watch the water temps |

Thank you for the info, I just did a 50% water change so I'll do another tomorrow.
