i need some opinions. Right now i have 2 aquariums set up a 72 bow front and a 125. My 72 bow front has mostly dwarf groumis a few bala sharks neons. All the fish in it are very pretty and not very aggressive. My 125 has 2 parrot fish 8 big silver dollars body 3-4 inches and a few 1 kissing groumi 1 yellow groumi and i believe they are called sunset groumis small very bright yellow. Due to the silver dollars i can't keep live plants in there. Both tanks right now have no live plants because i set the bow front up and transferred the fish out of the 125 while i re did that tank. Yesterday i bought another 125 which came with 8 big beautiful angels 3 blue 1 double black and the rest are white they are big huge i should say. Right now they are in my other 125 with the silver dollars till i get their 125 going. Before i bought the 125 i ordered a brand new 55 i have all the accessories for it. I put a 20 dollar deposit and i am trading in my old 55 so cost would be 80 dollars. I wonder is it would be big enough for the 8 silver dollars if not i thought about growing plants in it. and making it a chichlid tank. A t5 grow light set up came with my 125 would be great for growing plants. If the 55 is big enough for the silver dollars. I was thinking about the 125 for the dwarf groumis tank more room. I want to have live plants in all my tanks except for the silver dollar tank. I tried putting live plants in with them before 30 min a plant they ate them. I found out yesterday i am getting a free 29 gal tank from a co worker of my brothers. I have no idea what to do or put in that one.
I retired early age of 47 a few years ago for health reasons so i have the time now to keep up the tanks i know it takes a lot of work but will have 1 heck of an aquarium room when its done. Any ideas what to do with these tanks set up wise. The 125 came with a bunch of driftwood an big rocks for decorations Thanks

I would definitely get the bala's into a 125 gal. A 72 bow front is too small for them.
Maybe you could set up something like a river tank in one. Do some cooler water fish like hillstream loaches. That would be neat. ![]() |
