Default Snails are still dying? Can anyone help

Greetings.

I posted a few months ago because my snails in my fresh 30 gallon tank kept dying. Someone suggested putting some cutting bone in the tank to add calcium and I did that. I bought 2 new snails and one of the died again (I found him on my filter being sucked). The other one seems to be doing fine and is climbing up and down like he should be.

Levels:
pH 7.0
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0

Is there a way to test the calcium levels to see if that is an issue?

I have:
1 large angel fish
1 parrot fish
2 mollys
1 zebra
1 red tetra
1 rainbow
2 catfish
1 algae feeder (not sure of his name)

That is it.

I do regular water changes

If you can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I am fairly new to this!

I think with Fw tanks gh is a rough measure of ions like calcium. (and magnesium and others).

NitrAtes are 0? Seems odd. Do you test your self? There are issues with nitrate tests. Depending on which test you get one of the bottles needs to be shaken quite vigorously to work. Its possible that your nitrAtes are high, doubt its the root cause, but it couldn't hurt to check.

Have you worked it out yet? Is it a planted tank? Have you ever used meds in the tank? Copper based meds can be a problem for inverts long after you stop using them.

Thanks for responding. I have one snail that seems to be fine. pH is 7.2 which I think was the important issue. Do you have any recommendations?
