what up every one so i have had my 55 set up for about a month and its a little empty.. lol all the fish that are in my tank are listed below in my thing just so u know what i already have without going through all that mess. but all the ones i have except for the pleco and the pictus cats come out sometimes during the day but the other ones all hide all day and my tank looks empty. :( so i was thinkin about adding some angel fish or somthin then my buddy and i started talkin about silver dollars. if i got 2 or 3 of siver dollars and a gourmie would that be too much or do you think the gourmie would punk out my other fish. and same with the silver dollars would they mess with any of my other fish? also to just put this in there at some point i will be buying a african butterfly fish for my tank and im assuming the gourmie would mess with him which in that case i would just put him in my 35.

I have two angels, two silver dollars and a blue gourami in my 55 community tank along with others. There is also a Blood Parrot cichlid in there.
The BP runs the tank followed by the larger of the angels. Then comes the next angel followed by the gourami. The SD's bother no one, not even my much smaller white skirted tetras. No serious aggression. The BP will sometimes chase the angels, gourami but just for a couple seconds. Same with the angels going after the gourami. YEMV. I have never kept a African Butterfly Fish.
