Default Should I be worried about this crack? [pictures!]

Something must have hit the corner of the aquarium. I have no idea what or when it happened.

I hope the picture worked.

But the corner is crushed in one spot, and the crack is just above it. Please advise. Should I just get the silicone sealant and put it over the outside?

If I was you I would get a new aquarium today. Trust me on this one. I had a aquarium break on me at 2am and it was not fun at all.

Short answer: Yes.
Is the tank glass or acrylic?
If you do try to fix with silicone, it would probably need to be on the inside of the glass, not the outside, but if the crack spreads or spiders then you could have a catastrophic failure.
Remove water to lessen the pressure and start looking for a new tank, imho.
If it is acrylic you might have some other repair options, but it its glass I think it's time to find a new tank.

New tank. You could always try to fix it, but as already mentioned: a broken tank at 2am with fish flopping on the floor is never fun.

Sorry 'bout your tank!

Better safe than sorry, drain below the crack or bucket the fish and start looking for a new tank.

Aw don't quit! We all have times where nothing goes right in the hobby! (At one point, I had a tank that was fishless cycling and it took over 2 months (when it should have been 3-6 weeks), while at the same time I lost about 50 shrimp in another tank AND the tank also seemingly had a leak - never found out what was wrong with it, but I don't use it anymore.) It will get better!

Don't quit the hobby! It'd be such a shame!

The fortunate things is, it's only a 20g tank. I can't see it good enough. I have one tank (125g) that has a chunk missing out of one of the corners and it hasn't been a problem.

From what I can tell as well, it doesn't appear to be cause for concern. If you can get a clearer picture, that may help.
