Default Shipping a 140 Bow Front

My brother in law is giving me a 140g acrilic bow front with all the marine filters, lights, etc. The whole nine yards. The only problem is that the tank is in West Palm Beach and I am in Memphis. How do I get the darn thing up here? Will a shipping company move it for me?

Would it be cheaper to fly down, rent a truck and drive back? I have a car that will pull a small U-Haul trailer. It takes about 300 dollars in gas to go round trip and at least two nights in a motel, plus the highway food and all the other stuff involved in driving that far. It's almost exactly 1,000 miles one way. I just got back today from a visit there.

Regardless, what a deal. This is a super tank, no straches, half cylinder with everything super quality, set up for salt water. Free for the taking. I've just got to figure a way to get it here.

Check with ups air frieght and such. To ship it, it will need a crate built around it with
2 x 4's so it won't get broken or scratched. You may end up finding it would be cheaper to go get it. Shipping will be high because of the weight of the crate.

check with R & L Carriers, they do alot of things like that, they will even come to his house and pick up and delivery to your house, i have used them several times of differnt things and really happy with the service they gave, everthing was good condition and picked up and delivered when they said it would be, takes a few extra days but for the money it was worth it
